Charlie Edgeworth, 19, had the common medical condition which caused him to grow breasts when he was just 13.

Charlie was so unhappy by his B-cup chest that he has never had a girlfriend – and used to cover himself up in baggy jumpers, even during the hottest summer months.

Determind to reduce his chest, the teenager went on a strict diet. This caused his weight to plunge reaching a dangerous nine stone when he was still attending school – but this only proved to make his chest more prominent.

So Charlie finally decided to sell his car to fund the £2,000 breast reduction – and is hoping his new chest will help him find love.

Excessive development of male breasts is estimated to affect 40% of men and it appears that the proportion is rising.
